There are more reasons for reading papers/mags online than just convenience for some of us. Now I read online for another reason. My eyesight is not as good as it once was and I can control the print size of what I read. Even with a magnifying glass, reading print is not always comfortable. And my 25 in. flat screen monitor is the ultimate in luxury, thanks to a son's gift.
I, for one, would be unable to afford even the least number of them had I to pay for them. I did pay for the NYT online for a period of time until they stopped requiring payment to read most of their articles. It was still cheaper than had I paid for the printed version.
