  • Those of us that ever worked with tubes is getting pretty small. The only exceptions are TV picture tubes and they are quickly vanishing. I guess high power transmitters and some high end audio are about the only remaining uses. How many people can say they mistakingly touched the B+? ...and lived to tell. (I did.)

    I moved out of electronics and hardware into software 20+ years ago as I got tired (then) of replacing 'black boxes' instead of fixing problems.
