The first year, racoons got to the nest and destroyed the young. The Harris Center then wrapped the big pine tree with metal bands to keep anything from climbing up again.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;We were just drifting by south of the protected zone and my wife saw this one sitting on the rocks, probably waiting to be fed.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/mvfotog/803468488/in/set-72157600803201488/" rel="nofollow"&gt;http://www.flickr.com/photos/mvfotog/803468488/...&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;I think I saw three eaglets this year, but didn't get any good shots.</description><dc:creator xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">Earle Rich</dc:creator><pubDate>Tue, 30 Sep 2008 20:49:15 -0000</pubDate></item></channel></rss>
